Overview

Instagram has 1 billion monthly active users and 500 million daily users, 500 million users now use Instagram Stories every day and the average posting frequency for IG Stories is 2.3 posts per week. Despite the numbers, the users has very limited control over who to direct the content of their stories. So far the only actions that can be taken in this regard consist on hiding the stories from certain people or publishing them visible only to the group of our "close friends". A poor solution that many find it insufficient and even creepy.
